Hi Sami, The short answer to your question is 'No'. You must have Word installed on the computer in order to convert Word documents into PDF files on that machine. The files required to run the Word object model are the same files which are the Word product itself. There are 3rd party solutions that achieve this.
For example, Adobe’s Acrobat PDF Writer acts as a printer driver, to which you could print from our free Word Viewer. There may also be other 3rd party solutions that are able to do the conversion directly, such as OmniPage. But I am not sure about the licencing information regarding these products. Thanks, Harjit. Hi Sami, The short answer to your question is 'No'. You must have Word installed on the computer in order to convert Word documents into PDF files on that machine. Hi Kurt, No I was not able to get it to work. In fact according to microsoft, what we are tyring to do is NOT supported/recommended.
(I can't find the same article but basically they say Office is interactive product thus they don't recommend having it run like a service.) It didn't fail immediately. It would hang and eat up CPU time. We decided to spending $ to purchase 3rd party product (Aspose. Vat201 Form South Africa. Word) to convert docx to pdf. Unfortunately the product we picked (Aspose.Word) doesn't fully convert what you see in docx when it converts (ie.
Watermark doesn't get converted, table headers aren't repeated across multiple pages, etc.). So after wasting $, we had to change requirement to keep the document in.docx rather in.pdf.
Coreldraw X4 & 38; Keygen [blaze69] more. I hope you have better luck. Thanks, Anthony.
