@ Cinderellimouse and Kalphoenix: Thank you! This couple do not have garden-related careers or traits, so I kept the greenhouses simple.
Didn't use the gardening stations and didn't plant trees here. I'm not sure if the regular sprinklers will work ok on the platforms even with the soil rugs. I'm testing this out; so far, there's no flooding problem. My plan is to put a bot emporium on one of the empty lots and create a gardening/cleaner/handy plumbot for the household. I love plumbots. In another world I play, I recently put sentient chips in a couple of bots and split them from the household to live in the neighborhood. They're doing great.
They both have the nanny chip and work in education. They also have capacity to love and are very close to each other. I want a few plumbots around LL too.:-).
And I am very curious also about these rabbitholes so many of you have mentioned. They all look alike (found on those tiny 10 x 15 lots). They have a small footprint. They can be placed inside two story buildings, hidden away, which means you can build your own functional rabbit hole shells.
You can also move them all onto one 64 x 64 lot, throw shells or partial shells around them so it is easy to tell one from another, and call it a mall. In short, people love them because they are versatile. OMG thank you! This is what I'm gonna do when I redo LL. I'm getting rid of all the domes and replacing with lots from ITF.
Make sure your patched to the version where the tree is fixed! It's got a nasty glitch! I think it was 1.63 that corrected it? I'm note quite sure but double check! I'm like so eager to get back to LL. I really need to get ITF.
This thread did me in. Let me go to my bakery LOL *hopes to tip you over the edge* Curiosity got the better of me and I loaded up Lunar Lakes (the store version, not my edited version). All I did was switch the season to winter and dump a couple of the Into the Future rabbitholes in there and it was instantly so much more interesting than the basic version!!! (To me at least) I just wanted to post the images, just to share ideas, and to show how quick and easy it was just to pop in a couple of newer features.
I really want to get back to my makeover version now! Ya know, Cinderelli, I was so tempted to reinstall Lunar Lakes this weekend but I resisted and played Lucky Palms instead. Now you had to post these photos. Has anyone verified that the Tree of Prosperity is in fact fixed with the ITF patch? My resistance is waning. Mwa ha ha ha haaaaaaaa!!!
Yeah, I definitely remember seeing the fix in the patch notes. Lucky Palms is the other world I'm itching to play! I came across the old producer walkthrough of it on Origin and made the mistake of watching it! I'm like so eager to get back to LL. I really need to get ITF. This thread did me in. Hey cinderelli!! Thanks I cant wait to get my hands on it. The way its recolored here is just gorgeous!! Aww, thank you!
^.^ It'll take me a while to finish it because of my course, but I do think just switching to winter gives it a really different look. These pics are fantastic! Can't wait to do this now! Right now I'm still working on the residence for this girl and skilling her up: Going with the idea that her unusual looks are due to secret alien parentage.
LOL And as soon as I get the chance I'm going to cheat an alien into her household, make him over so he looks more human but still obviously alien and then they'll have a bunch of hopefully mostly alien children! (Also, I saw your thread about playable ghosts and didn't know the answer:?) Ah well, hopefully someone will be able to help me out on that one! I love having haunted houses but I don't want to play the ghosts! LOL I DO like assigning them traits tho. Ghosts that are neat and like to garden can be quite handy!
